On 10th December 2012 the Heath area of Uttoxeter was designated a Big Local area by Local Trust.
What Does This Mean?
Local Trust is funded by the National Lottery, and Local Trust’s mission is to enable people to make their communities better places to live.
The Heath area is one of 150 communities around the UK where residents have been given the exciting opportunity to use £1 million to make a lasting and positive difference to their communities.
In a nutshell, a vision of the Heath area will be shaped and agreed by people who live here, and a plan will be formed that must invest at least £1 million of National Lottery funding in making a lasting change in the things that matter to local people.
Where is the Heath Big Local Area?
The Heath Big Local – funded by the National Lottery – is pleased to announce that the fifth wave of Community Chest funding is now available for you to apply for.

People are invited to attend the upcoming Heath Big Local 2017 Annual General Meeting.
