Uttoxeter womens’ refuge receive grant for kitchen

The Heath Big Local has presented a cheque to Halfrida House, a local women refuse. This will fund a new kitchen for the residents, helping them learn cookery skills, meal preparation and healthy, balanced nutritional meals.

A spokesperson from the charity said: “Many thanks to Heath Big Local for funding our new project. Not only will the new kitchen provide a great facility for our residents to learn cookery skills, it will be an area for the women to come and enjoy baking, cooking and creating recipes, together.”
